CLOSET
Architect Raphaël Delville designed this building in 1938 on Charles Woestelaan. Built in the paquebot style, it showcases nautical-inspired details: smooth edges, long horizontal lines accented with black contrast, lacquered wood, glossy finishes, and mirrors. Every element is thoughtfully designed, balancing aesthetic elegance with functional purpose.
For this dressing room, we took inspiration from the paquebot style to optimize the small space. Practical storage solutions were integrated without blocking the light, while mirrors amplify brightness and enhance the sense of openness. The carpet introduces an extra pop of warm color, extending the tone of the parquet floor, and black lines add visual contrast and subtle definition. The result is a compact yet refined space where form and function coexist seamlessly.
